SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
This stage is merit-based, so candidates have to perform well to get into the final list. Tier 2 comprises of 3 papers:
- Paper I which is compulsory for all candidates and
- Paper II for those applying for the post of Junior Statistical Officer and
- Paper III for Assistant Audit Officer.
In Tier-II, negative marking is 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Section-III of Paper-I. Section-III (Computer) and Section-IV (DEST Typing) are mandatory but qualifying in nature, with higher qualifying standards for some posts. For Paper-II and Paper-III, 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
