Candidates registering themselves for the first time in the newly launched SSC portal need to go through the OTR process in order to apply for SSC CGL 2026.

  1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)

For candidates registering themselves on the newly launched SSC portal for the very first time, it is mandatory to do the OTR before applying for SSC CGL 2026.

Step 1: Go to the official SSC website - ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the option of “Login/Sign Up.”

Step 3: Fill in your basic details including: Candidate’s Name, Name of Father, Name of Mother, Date of Birth.

Step 5: Enter Aadhaar Number for Aadhaar-based authentication. Candidates not using Aadhaar must upload an alternate ID proof such as:

Step 6: Verify your Mobile Number and Email ID through OTP verification.

Step 7: After successful verification, SSC will generate:

  • Registration Number
  • Auto-generated Password

Step 8: Login again using the generated credentials and change the password.

  • Address

  • Disability Details (if applicable)

Step 10: Review all details carefully and click on “Final Submit”.

Step 11: Candidates must complete the OTR process within 14 days, otherwise the saved information will be deleted automatically.

2. Fill SSC CGL 2026 Online Application Form

Step 1: Login to the SSC portal using the Registration Number and Password.

Step 2: Under the “Latest Notifications” section, click on “Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026”.
