What are IBPS Clerk Percentage Calculation Guidelines?
The candidates have to calculate their graduation percentage as per the standard method prescribed by IBPS. The percentage is calculated by dividing the total marks scored in all the subjects of all the semesters/years by total maximum marks and multiplying by 100. This will apply whether or not the university awards class/grade on the basis of marks in the honours component only.
- If your score is 59.99%, it will be considered less than 60%. Similarly 54.99% is treated as less than 55%.
- For CGPA/OGPA-based results convert your grade to a percentage using your university official conversion formula.
- You must submit documentary proof of the conversion method during document verification.
IBPS Clerk 2026 Credit History Requirement
Candidates selected for IBPS Clerk 2026 should have a good credit history at the time of joining the allotted bank. This is not required while applying for the exam but it is checked during the final appointment. Candidates must meet the minimum credit score requirement as per the policy of the respective participating bank.
- If your CIBIL or similar agency report reflects any adverse status, you must either get it corrected or submit NOCs from concerned lenders.
- Failure to do so may lead to withdrawal or cancellation of the job offer.
- This clause does not apply to candidates who do not hold any bank account.
