BPSC Economics Exam Pattern 2025

The candidates appearing for the BPSC exam must be well aware of the exam pattern before beginning their preparations. The BPSC Exam Pattern is given in detail below:

Preliminary Examination

The BPSC preliminary examination will be qualifying in nature, consisting of only one paper of General Studies carrying a weightage of 150 marks. For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Mains Examination

The BPSC Mains Exam includes objective and descriptive- type papers. for a total of 1100 Marks. It comprises 5 papers, of which General Hindi and an optional subject are qualifying papers of 100 marks each. All other papers are descriptive type, for 300 marks each.
