SSC CGL Selection Process 2026: Tier 2 Exam
The SSC CGL Tier 2 stage is the most important part of the selection process. The marks you score here are used to prepare the final merit list. Check the details of Tier 2 below.

SSC CGL Tier 2 consists of Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3, conducted in multiple shifts. Paper 1 is held in two sessions on the same day and candidates must pass all its sections. All papers are objective type, except for Module II of Section III in Paper 1.

SSC CGL Selection Process 2026 - Document Verification
The last stage of SSC CGL selection process is Document Verification (DV) round. Candidates who qualify in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 of SSC CGL exams appear for this round. They will be required to bring the original documents and photocopies submitted during the SSC CGL Application Process. Candidates with quota reservation will have to provide the supporting documents or they will be considered under the Unreserved/General category. What ID Proof is Required for Photo Verification?
In the SSC CGL selection process, candidates must bring original documents for verification. They also need to carry a valid photo ID that matches the date of birth mentioned on the admit card. Any one of the following original documents can be shown for verification.
