The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 Re-Exam Date has been announced by the National Testing Agency. The examination will now be conducted on 21st June 2026. NEET Exam Timings 2026

The NEET 2026 exam is conducted in a shift only. It is conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST. This makes the total duration of the exam 180 minutes or 3 hours. Students must report at the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam start time, i.e., the reporting time is 1:00 PM. The entry to the exam centre will close at 1:30 PM.

Documents Required at NEET Exam Day 2026

On the day of the NEET 2026 exam, every candidate must bring only the approved documents mentioned in the NTA guidelines. These documents help verify your identity and ensure smooth entry into the examination hall. Without them, candidates may not be permitted to sit for the exam. Valid Photo ID Proof

Any one of: Aadhaar Card with photo, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or other government-approved ID. Must be original, not a photocopy.

Passport-size Photographs

Same as uploaded in the NEET application form. Keep at least 2 photos for the attendance sheet.

PwBD Certificate / Scribe Form

Only for candidates under the Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category. Original certificate required.

Prohibited Items on NEET Exam Date 2026

Here are few tips for the NEET UG exam date 2026 that students should follow a smooth exam process:

As per NEET UG Dress Code: students must wear light and simple clothes without big buttons, badges, or metallic items. Male candidates are advised to wear half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts with trousers and slippers or sandals instead of shoes. Female candidates should wear half-sleeve clothes without embroidery or heavy designs, along with simple trousers or salwar. Jewellery, watches, caps, and accessories are strictly not allowed.
