The 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the 85% State Quota seats for NEET 2025 are counseled separately. For the MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing programs, the State Medical Admission Authorities conduct the latter while the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the former. We provide comprehensive information on MCC NEET UG counseling 2025 in this article.

  • Four rounds of NEET Counselling are anticipated for the academic year 2025; more rounds may be notified depending on the number of open seats.
  • From last year forward, a second round—the Stray Vacancy round—was added.
  • For the first two rounds, candidates may register; however, there will be no registration process available for the mop-up round and the stray vacancy round.

NEET Counselling 2025

The MCC NEET UG Counselling procedure 2025 determines admissions to MBBS/BDS programmes under AIQ, deemed universities, and ESIC/AFMS institutes across the nation based on NEET-UG results. Admission to these medical programmes requires passing the NEET test. NTA NEET counselling includes two types: All India and State. The NEET UG counseling includes the following seats.

  • The All India Quota MCC counselling procedure is as follows: 15% of seats in all government medical and dental colleges, all seats at deemed universities and central universities, all seats at Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and the American Funds for Medical Care (AFMC), including Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, AIIMS & JIPMER, are only available through the AIQ NEET 2025 counselling process. It's crucial to remember that J & K are not a part of this procedure.
  • State Quota Seats for NEET UG Counseling: State NEET Counseling 2025 will be used for admissions to 85% of seats in government colleges and all seats in private unaided/aided minority/non-minority medical/dental institutes in the state.
