IBPS PO Nationality
According to the IBPS PO Eligibility requirements, a candidate with any of the following nationalities can apply for the recruitment:
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
- Candidates belonging to the EWS category must produce a valid Income & Asset Certificate for the financial year 2025-26 (valid for 2026-27). Reserved category candidates must submit the certificates in the latest format issued by the competent authority during the interview/document verification process.
Note- provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) & (5) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
IBPS PO Calculation Percentage
