The Central Board of Secondary Education had reopened application window for the upcoming Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on its official website, i.e., ctet.nic.in. As per latest updates, candidates had applied from 25th August to 1st September 2026.   • The CTET Apply Online window has been reopened till 1st September 2026.

  • Now, click on the "Candidate Activity" section and then go to the " New Registration’ section.

CTET Registration 2026 Process

The application procedure for CTET comprises online registration, form filling, uploading documents, making payments, and submission procedures. The following is an outline of the essential steps involved in filling out and submitting the CTET Application Form.

(a) Authentication Form: Provide your state, identification number (choose any identity number available to you), candidate’s name, date of birth, and gender.

CTET Photo & Signature Size 

  • Uploading scanned photos and signatures in JPG/JPEG format is mandatory.
  • The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 and 100 KB. 
  • The image Dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 3 and 30 KB. The image Dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).

What if the CTET Registration Confirmation Page Didn't Generate?

If the CTET confirmation page does not generate, it is important to stay calm and follow the steps mentioned above. Eligibility Criteria to Fill Out CTET Application Form

The qualities needed to teach at the primary and higher primary levels determine who is eligible to fill out the CTET Application Form. CTET Exam Centre List

Candidates will not get the option to select their examination centre while filing the CTET Application form. The examination city will be allotted randomly by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Requests for changing the allotted exam city will not be entertained. Similarly if the exam is scheduled to be held on 5th & 6th September 2026 the examination city will be allotted randomly. No request for change in examination date will be accepted under any circumstances.
